Net Casino Sucker Bets — Part 2

  • Progressive side bets: Casino games such as Caribbean Stud Poker often have one of these. You generally put a bet (a dollar is the usual value) to attempt to win a side jackpot that can be upwards of twenty-five thousand dollars. Though big jackpots like these are extremely alluring, they’re also very complicated to succeed. You might have to get a Royal Flush in order to succeed on this bet. Also, picture this- you wager 20 hands and place the side wager each time. That’s twenty dollars you should have used towards the real game bet in place of a sucker wager. Imagine what you could have been able to win at a wager with better odds employing that twenty dollars.
  • Individual number bets in Roulette: This is completely true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has only 1. This takes the complete house edge from 2percent with one zero wheel to a huge 5percent in American. The one number wager has just a one in 38 chance of succeeding, which are very big odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red wagers instead which have a much lower casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any version of Keno, and anyway you wager on it, the house advantage can be a huge 25%. Yes, that wasn’t a error. Because of the large amount of numbers you must pick, it isn’t advisable to wager on Keno to often. A few times for fun, maybe. But do not waste all your cash on it or you will quickly discover yourself bankrupt.
